Purpose of the role

  • Plan and execute Human Resources strategies in alignment with corporate visions and guide, manage the Human Resources services, policies, programs and values
  • Advise and consult with market executives on Human Resources issues
  • Drive employee engagement and experience in supporting the corporate culture
  • Support leaders and HR teams by providing HR directions and guidelines as well as advice and counsel
  • The position will have direct reports across Europe & South Africa


Your to do’s

  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and law compliance
  • You take a leadership role in enhancing values-based corporate culture to raise the enthusiasm of employees by creating employee-oriented programs and projects
  • Set up employee engagement strategies
  • Establish efficient human resources operations and drive business partnerships
  • You will be responsible in building, managing, improving organizational talent pipelines with inspired, capable people who will be developed into future business leaders
  • You will be leading the HR department as well as ensuring its development and growth
  • You will be accountable for employees’ safety, welfare, wellness, health programs as well as developing, motivating and retaining talents

Your personal added value

  • Master's degree with major in Human Resources Management, Business and/or Public Administration
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in HR and at least 3 years as a head function of international HR
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members, line managers through the process of understanding the needs and responsibilities of human resources
  • Proven leadership in executing difficult changes in a complex environment
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • You act as “supporting leader” to meet people’s outward mindset and principles to build strong partnerships across functions, stakeholders and markets a “yes we can” attitude
  • Ability to influence and change management capabilities, views and model growth mindset
  • Ability to create and deliver executive presentations, verbal and written communication skills in English and German is mandatory
